Update: Missing learner found along Seventeenth Avenue, Edenvale

It is believed Ndlovu was meant to return home after school but never did.

Mbalenhle Ndlovu(12) a learner who went missing on June, 2 was found today. 

According to the Edenvale SAPS Spokesperson,  Sgt Jacob Mashile,  Ndlovu was found along Seventeenth Avenue, Edenvale earlier today.

Mashile thanked community members, Edenvale Community Policing Forum and the various security companies for assisting with the search.

Edenvale SAPS urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of 12-year-old Mbalenhle Ndlovu to contact the police.

Edenvale SAPS spokesperson Sgt Jacob Mashile said a missing person’s case was opened after Ndlovu went missing on June 2.

“Ndlovu was last seen wearing her primary school uniform, which is a green checked skirt and white shirt,” said Mashile.

She was also wearing black shoes and carrying a black school bag.

It is believed Ndlovu was meant to return home after school but never did.

The 12-year-old girl is of medium build, weighs 65kg and is 1.5m tall.

Anyone with information about Ndlovu’s whereabouts must contact Edenvale SAPS Sgt Maela on 076 639 5267.
