Trallavelle to drop latest track

Trallavelle, a young and vibrant hip-hop trio from Germiston, shared some exciting news about their music career.

Come prepared, dress in ‘drip’ (dress up to the music and show your best hip-hop style) and join Trallavelle as they release their latest track Park on February 1.

Trallavelle will be hosting a party in honour of Park’s launch, which will be televised live on Moja Love.

“It smacks,” said Trallavelle when asked what makes Park the best song they’ve produced.

Trallavelle is a self-motivated and independent hip-hop trio with a unique backstory.

Based in the Germiston CBD, the trio consists of Keletso Moraba, aka ‘King Major’; Kabelo Moraba, aka ‘Papi Chulo’ and Monde Ngwenya, aka ‘U-turn’.

The trio has only been together for a couple of months, however, twin brothers Keletso and Kabelo have been producing their own music for a number of years.

Keletso and Kabelo met Monde at Kitcheners in Braamfontein, on a night out.

They discovered that they shared a love for producing hip-hop and decided to produce music together, which led to them leaving their previous record label Rap Lyf Records and founding their own, Richfield Records.

“It’s not something I dislike, but the process of breaking into the mainstream hip-hop industry has been a tough challenge for me.

“It’s something one should think about. I realised you need to go through that process, you don’t really have a choice,” said Monde, after he was asked what was the biggest challenge he has faced in the music industry.

Inspired by big name artists such as Tupac and Drake, Trallavelle aims to produce hip-hop for an international audience and would one day like to receive a Grammy.
