Guests enjoy a Columbian food sensation

Colombian Cultural Food Festival comes to Emperors Palace.

To mark the start of its Colombian Cultural Food Festival, Emperors Palace hosted a special dinner for VIP guests at the five-star D’oreale Grande Hotel’s Aurelia’s Restaurant on Thursday evening.

During the course of the evening guests such as the Colombian cultural attaché, Ivan Mendoza, Emperors Palace complex operations executive, Clive Tavener, ambassador of Colombia, His Excellency Carlos Andrés Barahona Niño and deputy ambassador of Colombia, José Juliao, were treated to a taste of unique blend of indigenous Colombian, African, European and Arabian cuisine. Award-winning Colombian chef Carlos Andrés Ibañez visited Emperors Palace where he spearheaded a Colombian Cultural Food Festival, which was presented by Emperors Palace, in conjunction with the Colombian Embassy.

Food lovers were introduced to a unique blend of indigenous Colombian, African, European and Arabian cuisine, accompanied with salsa dancing and a wine pairing.
