Local musical maestros serenaded the audience at Holy Rosary’s state of the art Bishop Shanahan Hall in Edenvale, on March 9 and 10.
The Strictly Broadway musical featured the Noteworthy Concert Orchestra led by world-renowned conductor Richard Cock and they sounded as refined as a record.
Performances of music from the Lion King, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Camelot and Grease had the audience singing along while captivated in song.
The live show featured local artists who were dedicated to entertaining and they brought their best voices to the stage.
Learners from Helpmekaar Kollege choir presented some goosebump producing pieces and later closed off the show together with the soloists and orchestra in dance and song.
Soloists got the audience singing along to their favourite Broadway hits.
Lanie Coetzer, the organiser of the production, took some time to express her gratitude towards the partners, sponsors, audience and all who contributed to the success of the show.
“To the performers, you guys are the best, thank you for being there and arriving whenever we called for us to meet,” she said.
After the show, organisers and performers had a meet-and-greet table where fans could get autographs and photos.
