DJ Milo wins Carnival City Battle of the DJs

The winning DJ takes up a resident DJ position.

Carnival City staged the second edition of its annual Battle of the DJs competition over the 2017 festive season.

The 2017 Carnival City Battle of the DJs kicked off in November and culminated on New Year’s Eve.

The stakes were high for emerging mix masters, as the prize of a resident DJ contract worth R300 000 at Carnival City was up for grabs.

DJ Fresh was the main judge and hosted the event, also performing at the various rounds.

The winner was Mikhail Gaffoor, known as DJ Milo from the South of Johannesburg (Robertsham).

He will be the resident DJ at Bru’s.
