Great tastes to delight this Christmas

Christmas is a feast at the colourful Carnival City.

True to tradition, both Harvest Grill and Wine and the four-star Carnival City Hotel (at the poolside) will be serving all sorts of rich, delicious treats this Christmas.

The delectable set menu of scrumptious food promises to be comparable to mom’s home-cooked Christmas meals, with all the luxury but none of the hard work in a warm, magical setting.

“If you would like to treat your family to a mouthwatering meal but don’t feel like slaving in front of a warm stove all day, this is the place to be on Christmas Day,” said Michelle Smith, the marketing manager for Carnival City.

The Harvest Grill and Wine will also be catering to Christmas diners in the mood for mouthwatering food this Christmas Day.

Guests can choose from a selection of starters including spicy chicken penne with aribiatta and parmesan, a prawn and mussel tian with avocadoes and a micro herb salad, smoked salmon nicoise, caramelised butternut and confit tomato salad with crisp rocket and pumpkin seeds or grilled halloumi with pan-fried Rosa tomatoes, basil pesto and micro greens.

Mouthwatering dishes make for a vast array of main course options including herb-crusted leg of lamb served with a red wine sauce, roast whole turkey served with cranberry sauce and stuffing, honey glazed gammon with a butter mustard sauce or grilled Cajun prawns.

Finish off your tasty Christmas feast with some black forest gateaux, Christmas pudding with brandy crème anglaise or milk tart.

To further tantalise, fruit mince pies, milk chocolate eclairs or white chocolate mousse have also been added to this delightful menu to satisfy the sweet tooth.
