Home-grown comedy takes to the Big Top Arena

Don’t miss an evening of fun at Carnival City this Saturday.

Jonathan van die Oos-Rand, of Radio Raps fame, is on home soil to deliver his latest one-man show, Dingetjies en Goetertjies, to his local fans.

He will unpack the ups-and-downs of everyday life in his characteristic comical style at the Big Top Arena on Saturday.

He promises to have the audience screaming with laughter as he analyses everyday goodies and things and tries to make sense of life’s little irritations.

Known for phrases such as “Lekker boys”, “Da vat hy”, “Okeey” en “Olraait”, Jonathan van die Oos-Rand emerged on the local entertainment scene when online radio station Radio Raps posted some of his original material on YouTube.

The clips received more than three million views within eight months.

Now he fills venues across the country and has made a number of television appearances.
