Bikers set to aid animals

Gold Reef City Casino gets on board to help animals.

The Rocking Paws Mass Ride will roar into life on November 19.

This charity event will bring 2 500 Harley-Davidson and motorcycle owners together for a memorable ride from the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg in Morningside to Gold Reef City Casino in the south.

The event is aimed at raising funds for non-profit organisation, 50 Shades of Spay, and all contributions will go towards sterilising animals.

Bikers, biking enthusiasts, non-bikers and animal lovers alike can look forward to participating in a fun-filled day of entertainment, music, good food and the auctioning of prizes to raise funds for this good cause.

The mass ride will start at 9.30am and bikers should arrive at Gold Reef City Casino between 10.30am and 11am.

The gates to the event will then be opened.

Attendees are encouraged to bring any pre-owned/new items such as animal collars, leashes, beds, blankets, toys and food to the event, which will then be donated to animal shelters in need.
