Soul music to get you moving

Ringo Madlingozi and Selaelo Selota in Soulful Night line-up for Heritage Month celebration.

Celebrate Heritage Day (one day early) in style this September as Carnival City brings some of the biggest names in jazz and afro-soul including, Ringo Madlingozi and Selaelo Selota to its stage.

The Soulful Night concert, set to take place on September 23, is a celebration of culture, diversity, different beliefs and traditions.

Selaelo Selota will be performing in Soulful Night at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on September 23.

It will also feature Vusi Nova and Ntando Bangani, amongst many others, coming together in the spirit of Ubuntu on the Big Top Arena’s stage.

“We are thrilled to have these top artists perform in celebration of a day which is so near to the hearts of all South Africans,” said Michelle Smith, marketing manager for Carnival City.

Featuring an extensive array of artists, across a wide spectrum of genres and several generations, from jazz to afro-soul, new artists and those at their peaks, Soulful Night promises to uphold Ekurhuleni’s legacy to bring to music fans the best of musical performances, suited to their tastes and styles in a multi-cultural, multi-racial South African setting.

The show starts at 6pm but doors to the Big Top Arena will open at 5pm.
