On the Menu: Portuguese hospitality to warm you

O Cantinho offers patrons an array of great Portuguese dishes.

Nestled in the heart of Lambton, O Cantinho is the place to go for delicious Portuguese cuisine.

Owned by Allan Hage and Maria Goncalves, the restaurant has been open for almost two years and offers diners a relaxed family dining experience.

Children are well-catered for with a soft indoor play area as well as an outdoor jungle gym.

Sports fans can enjoy all the action in the sports bar with a big screen television while those who love live entertainment will get to enjoy live music once a month.

The restaurant is open from 10am (for drinks) with the kitchen opening from 11.30am until 9.30pm.

On Sundays, only lunch is offered and Mondays see the staff taking a well-deserved break with the restaurant closed to the public.

The chicken meal at O Cantinho is well-known and people travel from far and wide just to tuck into it.

The restaurant has also started making pizzas, which although not Portuguese, are a big hit with diners.

So why not pay O Cantinho, located at Cedar Corner, on the corner of Webber Road and First Avenue, in Lambton a visit for some Portuguese hospitality?
