DJ set to get you dancing at Carnival City

Well-known DJ Fresh to get the crowd moving at Bru’s.

House music fans can look forward to a superlative treat at Carnival City in August.

Popular Metro FM jock, DJ Fresh will be hitting the decks at Bru’s for two super-charged parties on August 8 and 26.

He will perform a dynamic mix of house, kwaito, progressive house and commercial music as only DJ Fresh know how.

DJ Fresh, with real name Thato Sikwane, is one of South Africa’s most-sought after mix masters.

He is credited with pioneering the house music scourge which is engulfing Southern Africa.

His first four house albums – the Fresh House Flava series – are touted to have altered the house music landscape in South Africa for good, bringing the genre into the mainstream music scene.

DJ Fresh boasts a diversity of talents that have seen him making major waves in the South African entertainment industry for over 30 years.

He is a sought-after television personality, popular social media sensation, and prolific radio and international club DJ.

During his career, he has shared the DJ booth with some of the world’s most famous DJs including, Frankie Knuckles, Paul van Dyk, Oskido, Fat Boy Slim, Ready D, Chris Lake and Armand van Helden, among others.

DJ Fresh and Levis will hit the decks at Bru’s from 8pm on both nights until late.

There is no entrance fee.
