Rollercoaster ride of comedy to lift the mood

Don’t miss Karou Charou and friends on stage at the Mardi Gras Theatre.

Buoyed by the success of his first ever show at Carnival City in July, the outrageous Karou Charou returns for an encore on November 11.

This time he brings with him an ensemble of crazy comedians for a night of hysterical antics at the Mardi Gras Theatre.

In the mix for the 90-minute comedy show are some of “Jozi’s” finest stand-up comics, namely Farhan Esat, Pravesh Mungaldave, King Nqoba, Prins VR, Jo’Burg Charou and Milton Gengaya.

With each boasting their unique style, the audience can get ready for a roller coaster ride of diverse comedy.

“We are thrilled to welcome Karou Charou back to our stage.

“After stellar performances earlier this year, he has entrenched himself as a favourite amongst local comedy fans,” said Matthew Cook, the events and entertainment manager at Carnival City.

The highly charismatic Charou, with his trademark outfits, dark glasses, “bling” and refreshingly interactive comedic style, is one of the most commercially successful comedians in South Africa.

He is well-known for his shows Kama Sutra, Hot & Spicy, Kama Sutra 2 and Beauty and da Charou with Beauty Ramapelepele.

The show will start at 8pm.
