Tevin Campbell set to wow fans

Carnival City will host Tevin Campbell for two shows this weekend.

Back in South Africa in July, by overwhelming public demand, is platinum-selling singer and songwriter, Tevin Campbell.

Carnival City will welcome Campbell to its stage at the Big Top Arena for two shows on July 23 and 24.

“What a coup to have Tevin Campbell performing on our stage.

“His fans were quick off the mark to purchase tickets to his previous South African shows, leaving many disappointed at having missed out.

“Here is another chance to see this talented artist live on South African soil,” said Matthew Cook, events and entertainment manager at Carnival City.

Fans can expect to hear many of Campbell’s popular hits, as well as new material such as his latest single, “Safer”, released earlier this year.

During his career, Campbell has been mentored by some of the world’s legendary artists including Quincy Jones and Prince.

He has also worked with some of the industry’s top writers and producers including Babyface, Al B. Sure, Narada Michael Walden, Wyclef and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In recent years, Campbell has performed on Broadway, playing the role of Seaweed J Stubbs in the musical Hairspray.
