One of the beautiful light displays at the Emperors Palace Garden of Lights.

Thousands of colourful lights, the sounds of Christmas carols and a host of characters will keep young and old alike enthralled this holiday season.

The Garden of Lights at the 5-star D’oreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace will mesmerise all who enter its gates.

The popular East Rand resort and casino will be lighting up the Ekurhuleni skies until January 3, 2016.

The garden is open between 7pm and 10pm daily, weather permitting.

While walking through the garden, children will also get to meet a number of exciting costume characters, as well as Father Christmas, himself.
