Young rapper has sights set on hip-hop fame

Set to take the music world by storm.

Hazeldene residents can boast of an upcoming musician in their midst.

Young hip-hop, R&B and dance musician Antonio Suto (21), or 3rd Letta, as he is known, has his sights set on making it big in the music world.

Antonio matriculated from Dinwiddie High School in 2011 and will be studying sound engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering, next year.

“I have always liked music,” he said.

“I started off in primary school as a beatboxer and then branched into writing poetry.

“From there I started rapping and I have grown since then.”

Antonio writes all his own material, creates his instrumentals and does the mixing.

“I feel that doing everything brings out the music the way I want it to be,” he said.

Currently Antonio is represented by Sebastian Taimo and endorsed by Allegrezza Clothing.

He has a number of television appearances lined up for the next six months, as well as a video shoot, and is working on an album, due for release at the beginning of next year.

“I am also doing a remix version of my song ‘Oh Dear’, with top artist Reason, which is very exciting,” Antonio said.

His parents, Maria and Antonio support him, although his dad wanted him to go into international relations.

His four brothers, Remigio (35), Amandio (31), Claudio (29) and Abrantes (27), also support him.

When Antonio is not working on his music he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Vanessa Adonis, playing basketball and drawing.

“Now that I am growing into myself as an artist I am making music that excites me and puts me in a good mood,” he said.

“From the feedback I have received it seems that it puts other people in a good mood, too.”

So watch out music world – Antonio hopes to take you by storm in the not so distant future.
