Enjoy a weekend of great entertainment

Great comedy lined up for Pride Weekend.

An ensemble of outrageous, proudly-South African comedians will unleash hilarity on Carnival City, as part of the Pride Weekend comedy, music and gospel festival, from March 6 to 8.

The Pride Comedy Fest takes place on the second day of the Pride Weekend, Saturday March 7.

Among the funnymen and women gracing the stage are Mashabela Galane, Skhumba, Celeste Ntuli, Sfiso Nene and Isaac Gampu.

“We are excited to welcome to our stage some of the biggest and fastest-rising comedians in South Africa for the Pride Comedy Fest taking place over the Pride Weekend,” said Michelle Smith, marketing manager at Carnival City.

“This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a unique blend of humour from a stellar line-up of comedians all in one place, on one night.”

The Pride Weekend kicks off on March 6, with the Pride Musical Fest, at 6pm.

In the line-up are artists The Soil, Black Motion, Moneoa, RamZ the DJ, and DJ Levis.

The weekend’s entertainment wraps up on March 8, with the Pride Gospel show, from 3pm.
