Shrish V Hargoon (28) has written a tongue-in-cheek song about load shedding.
The song is entitled “Hours Of Darkness”.
He told the GCN, “Load shedding, like any normal process, started off as a nightmare, as you are not accustomed to it.
“But eventually everything falls into place.
“I’ve now learned the times for the different stages that we fall under – cellphones and laptop are fully charged in advance, so that there is still life during the darkness.
“My mom gets the candles, paraffin lamp and LED lights all ready just before the load shedding starts at night – lol quite hilarious at times.”
