One-man show a hit.

Kama Sutra (Sex and Da Charou) is a one-man, adult comedy that tackles issues of sex and sexuality within the Indian community.

Using a combination of slide shows, interesting “props” , quick wit and toilet humour, the enigmatic and charismatic Karou Charou (the star of the show) takes the audience on a journey of discovery, challenging tradition, debunking myths and educating his audience, while thoroughly entertaining them.

A sexologist who attended one of the performances commented that the show, apart from being entertaining, was indeed educational.

Being the first Indian comedian to use the “f” word on stage, the “turbaned one” has amassed a following that has a penchant for his no-holds barred, in your face, routines.

His style is refreshingly different, and his ability to walk off stage and engage in unscripted, yet hilarious banter with the audience is second to none on the comedy circuit.

Kama Sutra premiered with seven sold out shows at Sibya Casino, and has since gone on to sell out a further 15 shows across the country, including one at the Lyric Theatre .

Catch Kama Sutra in the Theatre of Marcellus, at Emperors Palace, on February 1.

The show carries an adults only warning and Karou warns sensitive people with no pulse to “stay at home.”
