Hoërskool Elspark shines in the cross-country championships
Ten student athletes have qualified for the provincial championships.
Hoërskool Elspark celebrated a stellar performance at the recent district cross-country championships, securing multiple podium finishes.
Out of 51 athletes representing Germiston schools, 10 were from Elspark, bringing home four gold medals, three bronze, a fourth place, and two sixth-place finishes.

Ten of the school’s athletes qualified for the upcoming provincial championships.
Notable performances include:
U15 boys: Thabiso Mkhaliphi (sixth).
U16 boys: Zakhele Ndlovu (third), Obololo Mbolekwa (sixth).
U17 boys: Atomic Komana (first), Siphiwe Hlatshwayo (fourth).
U19 boys: Sphiwe Makhoba (first), Esak Ngubane (third).
U16 girls: Nolia Maruta (first).
U17 girls: Bronwyn Wagner (third).
U19 girls: Lerato Moromodi (first).
The team is now gearing up for the provincial championships.
