Koopman takes down opponent at Emperors

Keanu Koopman put on a solid performance to beat Zimbabwean Lancelot Moyo.

Primrose’s Keanu Koopman put on a solid performance to beat Zimbabwean Lancelot Moyo on the undercard of the No Quarter Given Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court.

Dubbed ‘The Sniper’, Koopman is an SA amateur champion who turned pro in 2022 and has since won five matches, four by TKO, and one loss. He upped his record to 6-1 by beating Moyo on August 23, with a unanimous points decision.

After the match, the local champion, who trains at Brian Mitchell Boxing Academy in Edenvale, was seen taking photos with fans and aspiring boxers.
