Netball tournament hosted at Germiston Stadium

“We are very proud of how our players introduced themselves to Region A competitions."

The Germiston Go Getters hosted the Region A opening tournament at the Germiston Stadium on February 10.

The club is registered with Ekurhuleni Netball Association (ENA) and the team is ready to compete in the 2024 league.

“The Germiston Go Getters is a new club and players performed well on the weekend.

“Our teams received second place for opens and third place for U10, U13 and U15,” said Louise Mitchell from LamDel Residents Association.

Players enjoyed a day of netball at the Germiston Stadium.

The association started a youth development portfolio in 2023.

“To launch this new portfolio we started with the Germiston Go Getters, which caters for players between the ages of eight to 18 years old.

“Four kits for use by players were donated. Since the launch we have been using the Germiston Stadium netball courts on a Saturday morning for training and community members have come forward and assisted where possible.”
