Primrose Sports Academy wins tournament

“We hope for such a tournament to be hosted annually and bring fun and scouts in the future.”

The Primrose Sports Academy’s (PSA) soccer team recently won a tournament in Primrose, walking away with a trophy and medals.

The Primrose Rates Tax Payers Association and other stakeholders partnered to host the tournament.
Netball games were also part of the tournament.

Doctor Motsoeneng, the PSA chairperson, said they were excited to win the tournament and bring activities like this to accommodate the Primrose/Germiston youth.

Various local soccer teams partook in a tournament hosted in Primrose.

 

“We hope for such a tournament to be hosted annually and bring fun and scouts in the future,” said Motsoeneng.

“As a team, we still need help from local businesses to assist us with training kits, transport and other necessities.

“We have enjoyed playing in a league in Kempton Park. It has been a hectic year, but our boys have shown resilience.”
