The event, which featured Nkululeko ‘King of Squats’ Dlamini from Tsere Life as the headliner, was successful.

Nkululeko Dlamini, better known as the ‘King of Squats’, leads an exercise session at the Germiston Stadium.

“We will donate the clothes to the needy people across the vast community of Germiston,” said the event organiser and founder of PUSH, Thokozani Thango.

“There is a lady aged 66 in my team. She is fit and has a six-pack. My grandmother’s story inspired me when I started the club. She died at 101,” said Thango.

Thango encouraged the community to lead healthy lifestyles that incorporated fitness.

Young people joined in the fun of working towards better fitness at the Germiston Stadium.
