Lambton race driver secures first position

Lambton resident and Jeppe Boy learner Renzo Ribeiro (16) again performed well on the track at the Red Star Raceway in Delmas on March 4.

Ribeiro secured pole position with a time of 2:09.

The first race started at 11:10, and he secured second place.

The second race was at 13:15, and Ribeiro took first place in a time of 2:03.

Unfortunately, he missed the third race because his clutch shaft broke on the starting line.

His next race will be on April 15 at the Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria.

The youngster also finished first at the Formula Libre Gauteng held at the Zwartkops Raceway Extreme Festival on February 18.
