The Tedstoneville-based side field teams in three divisions: U13, U15 and U17.

Their mission is to see all divisions competing in the Safa league by 2024.

According to chairperson Prince Ralushe, the U17s are already playing in the Safa regional league.

The U13s and U15s compete in the Germiston Local Football Association league.

“Last season in the Safa league we finished eighth. We hope to do better this year, gunning for a top-four spot,” said Ralushe.

“The U13s are sitting at the moment at the top of the log so we hope to walk away with the title. Winning the league means we will be promoted to play in the Safa regional league.”

The U15 league resumed after the December break but the schedule has been interrupted by the recent rainfall.

“The Safa league is demanding discipline, energy and resources,” said Ralushe.

“We managed to get the Department of Education to sponsor us with equipment but we are still looking for more help with transport and balls.

“It becomes a challenge when we have to play away games with all the travel expenses. We are also hoping to train at one of the local school’s sport grounds,” said Ralushe.
