The cheque hand over took place in Dukathole, Germiston.

Soccer is on hold because of the pandemic but that did not stop Carling Black Label, in partnership with Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, to offer soccer fans some fun.

Carling Black Label had a #stayathome campaign for the consumers to show off their skills with a chance to win the VIP experience of showcasing their skills during a half-time match for their team, a hamper as well as R10 000 which they would donate to the charity of their choice.

Consumers were encouraged to showcase their soccer skills by taking a video of themselves showcasing their skills in their favourite team’s regalia, and then upload the video onto their Twitter page with the campaign hashtag, #ChampionsStayAtHome.

There was a selection of the top 10 entries, with five each representing Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

The fans were judged by three players from each team who then selected two finalists, one from each team, being David Mnisi for Orlando Pirates and Ashley Mkhize for Kaizer Chiefs.

The overall winner was Ashley Mkhize who will get a VIP experience of showing off his skills at half-time during a match once spectators are allowed.
