“We also have an u-10 team competing this year,” said club chairperson Martiens Grobler.

At the end of the first half of the season, the club is fifth in the Directors League (out of 12 teams) and eighth in the Presidents League (out of nine teams), while the u-10 team is sixth in their league (out of 12 teams).

“So overall it’s not looking too bad for the club,” said Grobler.

Though practices and the season are in full swing, the club is still looking for new players to join their ranks.

“We are still looking to grow our numbers,” said Grobler.

“Our aim at the club this year is to get everybody, young and old, involved.”
