Germiston Golf Club’s Ladies Section recently held their annual Ladies Open.
“It was a beautiful, warm, calm spring day alongside the gorgeous setting of Germiston Lake,” said captain Nicolene Cambanis.
Sixty-six women came together from numerous golf courses from Serengeti in the east to Soweto in the west, to raise funds for the Germiston Ladies Section.
SPCA staff, who were invited on the day, also had lots of fun.
“We are grateful to our sponsors who helped make the event such a success, namely Makrosafe, Halsted, Shaya Fire, Lasher, Rebel and many members of the Germiston Golf Club,” said Cambanis.

“Germiston Golf Club is a lovely setting for corporate golf days, weddings, 21st birthday parties and other functions as there are numerous function rooms available and great catering.”
Ladies and junior girls who would like to play golf or join the ladies section are welcome.
There is a coach at the club to assist.
The women play every Saturday afternoon.
