Luso’s u-12 team head to cup finals

A 5-1 win against Young Stars FC sends Luso Africa FC’s u-12 to the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League Cup finals.

Luso Africa Football Club’s u-12 team played in the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League Cup semi-final against Young Stars FC at Benoni Northerns Sports Club in Benoni recently.

The match was a great test to see which team was fit to head to the finals of the 2019 season.

Luso quickly rose to the occasion, managing to put three goals behind the net in the first half, two of which were by Nivelle Ndala, followed by one from Blessing Kasipo.

The half-time score was Luso 3, Young Stars 0.

The second half was nothing short of spectacular, as Luso continued to stretch their lead by adding two more goals by Kasipo and Jojo Tau.

Their hosts endeavoured to redeem themselves, however, their offensive play only afforded them one goal.

The 5-1 win secured Luso’s young players a spot in the upcoming cup finals.
