Luso continue their Super League campaign

Luso Africa FC travelled to Kempton Park to take on Kempton Park FC in an Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League.

Luso Africa FC continued their Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League campaign with an away match against Kempton Park FC, last Saturday.

The first teams drew their match 2-2.

Luso started the match strong and were the first to get a point on the scoreboard, through a home goal from Kempton.

The visitors maintained their lead to the half-time break.

The second half started much as the first half had ended with Luso in the lead.

This lead was increased with a goal from Cebo Bidi.

Kempton refused to give in and began to pick up their momentum and fought their way back into the game scoring two goals.

Luso were unable to retake the lead, despite a number of chances at goal, and the match ended 2-2.

In the reserve teams’ match Luso took an early lead with a goal from Mario Ferreira.

The club maintained the lead throughout the first half.

In the second half Luso held nothing back and scored three goals before full-time.

The goals were scored by Fulvio Pereira, Balin Bennisan and Lebone Lephiri.

Kempton were unable to get a point on the scoreboard and the match ended 4-0.
