Thunder MMA fighter ready for RAW

Thunder MMA fighters Eric van Rooyen, Jade van der Kolff, Brendon Wesson and Chris le Roux are ready to pack a punch at Raw Fight Night (RAW) on July 20.

The event, which will be held in the south of Johannesburg, promises to be a night full of excitement and action.

For van der Kolff and Wesson this will be their first appearance in the hexagon and they are eager to showcase their skills and give it their all.

Van Rooyen is also ready for his match against Storm Stifler.

“I’ve been waiting a few years for this fight and finally it has arrived,” said van Rooyen.

“Stifler has previously said he will outclass and out wrestle me, but there is a difference between saying something and doing it.

“I don’t think he should make promises he can’t keep.”

Van Rooyen has trained hard for the fight and is determined and focused.

Le Roux will fight in the event’s main fight taking on Keagan Delafield in the featherweight title fight.

“Delafield has told people I won my last fight with a lucky shot,” said le Roux ahead of the fight.

“I am determined to prove him wrong – again.

“I am looking forward to the fight.”

Coach Pietie Coxen believes his fighters are ready to tackle any challenge that lies ahead.

“We make sure our fighters are equipped with every skill necessary to go into the hexagon and fight their heart out,” Coxen said.

“But they also learn to love and enjoy the sport.”
