A weekend of wins for Luso’s young players

Youngsters dominate their opponents in the Super League.

Luso Africa’s u-13 squad coached by twin brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Akiode have been flying high in the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League.

The team hosted Birch Acres FC recently, at their home ground Hattingh Park.

From kick-off, the boys displayed flair and speed on the pitch ending the first half with a score of 4-0, in their favour.

The charged-up team, added another four goals in the second half, ultimately defeating, a goalless, Birch Acres by 8-0.

The first goal was scored by Nduduzo Nyathi, who went on to score another three in the game.

Amonaide Leigh scored two goals and Siyasanga Mazele and Lwandle Ntombela contributed one goal each on the day.

In their most recent ELFA fixture, the team travelled to Birch Acres Primary School last Saturday where they faced an eager Sports Plus Academy.

Luso continued their winning streak with a clear 6-0 win against their hosts.
