This Cricket World Cup, every fan can win with Uber Eats

Uber Eats to offer enticing discounts for South African fans if Proteas beat England on Thursday.

Uber Eats will be delivering the home advantage to cricket fans.

As the official sponsor of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, Uber Eats will be unlocking exclusive discounts and offers in the app for South African cricket fans, allowing them to satisfy their cravings and enjoy an uninterrupted cricket match at home or work.

Place your bets, because it’s not only pride on the line, its food as well.

Many South Africans will clamour around their TV screens on Thursday to witness Francois ‘Faf’ du Plessis and his team bringing the fight to a formidable England side.

If South Africa wins, even with the forbidden trophy-touch by du Plessis, Uber Eats will release a promo code in the app the morning after the game, offering the first 20 000 fans who apply the code, R100 off their next Uber Eats order, this deal will be valid from 8am on May 31 to 8pm on June 4.

As the Cricket World Cup continues, many matches will be highly anticipated, none more so than when South Africa faces India on June 5.

The two teams have a well-respected rivalry which will come to a head.

Should South Africa hit more sixes than India, Uber Eats will provide the first 5 000 customers to enter the promo code, up to 60 per cent off their next order, valid from 8am on June 6 to 8pm on June 10.

South Africa will be up against New Zealand on June 19, in a match sure to leave fans breathless.

If South Africa’s favourite spearhead Dale Steyn, and other bowlers are able to win the game via an ‘all out’, up to 10 000 customers will get free delivery on their next Uber Eats order, an offer valid from 8am on June 20 to 8pm on June 26.

Here’s hoping that Steyn follows his ritual of stepping onto the field with his left leg first and looking upwards towards the sky, to sync this win.

Another edge-of-your-seat game will be when South Africa takes on Sri Lanka on June 28.

Up to 5 000 customers will receive up to 45 per cent off their next order, should South Africa bowl a speed of 145 km/ph or more in their match against Sri Lanka, this deal will be valid from 8am on June 29 to 8pm on July 5.

All eyes will be on Kagiso Rabada, the number one Test bowler in the world, to again reach his 151km/ph bowling speed.

Cricket fanatics at home or work can rest easy, having front row seats, with Uber Eats delivering the home advantage to cricket fans.
