Eagles fly high in recent clashes

Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club shines in weekend fixtures.

Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club returned from their forced cricket action sabbatical due to the recent heavy rainfall, with an impressive winning game plan.

The team hosted Etwatwa Cricket Club in the Sunday Promotion League, at their main oval in Dinwiddie on Sunday morning.

Opting to bat first proved beneficial for the soaring Eagles who set a target of 249 runs for five wickets in their 50 allotted overs.

Phillip Crouse with 80 runs, Billy Millar with 52 runs and Renier Wiesener with 42 runs ranked as the top batsmen for the club.
