Sensei Mark Strydom named champion in his division

Sensei Mark Strydom, of Wychwood-based SA JKA Karate Centre, walked away as Komite African Cup Champion at the recent African Cup Championships.

Sensei Mark Strydom, of Wychwood-based SA JKA Karate Centre, recently represented the SA JKA at the African Cup Championships.

The event which saw around 2 000 entrants from several different countries including Angola, Zambia and Mauritius, was held at the Standard Bank Stadium in Johannesburg.

Strydom was pleased when he was named Komite African Cup Champion for his division.
