Join the Eagles for fun-filled cricket season
The Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club is ready to make their mark the new Easterns Cricket League season which starts in October.
As winter slowly turns to spring the Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club is beginning its preparation for the upcoming Easterns Cricket League season.
After a successful 2017/2018 season, which saw the club topping both the Executive and Promotion leagues and walking away with several trophies at the annual Easterns prize-giving, the club is eager to get back into action when the league starts in October.

“After a well-deserved break, we believe it is important to get an early start on practice in order to maintain the momentum gained during the last few seasons.
“Spirits at the club are at an all-time high and we are thrilled to say we boast players with a wealth of talent and experience,” said Martiens Grobler on behalf of the club.
The club will start practice on August 16, which will include several friendly pre-season warm-up matches.
The matches will allow the club a chance to loosen up and find their stride before the season begins.
“The matches are always great fun and offer the players a great opportunity to showcase their talent,” Grobler said

The club is appealing to new players to come and join them.
“We look forward to growing and welcome all new and old members with open arms,” Grobler said.
