Tebbutt’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy sent its best karatekas to represent them in the Top Ten Team Challenge.

Tebbutt’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy recently sent six of their best to compete in the Top Ten Team Challenge held at the Barnard Stadium Indoor Centre in Kempton Park.

Cole Pretorius, Divan Fourie and LK van Coller, represented the academy in the junior boys u-9 division under the team name, Three Musketeers.

Tebbutt Spartan comprising Tyron Stevens, Austin Boyd and Juhann Duarte, faced opponents in the junior boys u-14 division.

Both teams did exceptionally well, winning in both points and continuous fighting.

Kanchu Alex Tebbutt told the GCN that all the in between tournaments are exactly what his members need in preparation for their trip to the National Mixed Martial Arts International Sport Karate Association (ISKA) Championships to be held in Cape Town in September.
