Action-packed weekend for Elspark United

Elspark United Football Academy set to hold trials to scout new talent, as well as fun-filled winter tournament.

The Elspark United Football Academy was established in 2012.

The club makes its home at the Elsburg Sports Complex and caters for players from disadvantaged backgrounds.

It strives to teach children from six to 17 years old more about the beautiful game of football.

On Saturday the club will be holding trials at their home grounds located on the corner of Heidelberg Road and Egret Street in Elspark, from 8am.

The trials will be open to u-13 and u-15 players, and hopefuls are asked to please bring a certified copy of their ID’s or birth certificates with them.

But that is not all the club has in store for the weekend. They will also be hosting a fun-filled winter tournament for u-17 and u-19 teams.

The matches will kick off at 8.30am on July 14 with the finals being held on July 15.
