The rugby team from Institute Status Acres recently played the first game of their school careers.
They played against Dawn Park High School and lost the match 21-7.
A few days later they played their second match against Windmill Park at won 29-0.
“I am proud of the boys’ commitment and dedication.
“We hope that the sport will be nurtured and taken to the next level,” said coach Thando Mhlongo.
The school also recently hosted a netball and soccer tournament in which five schools participated, namely Besek College, Royal Academy, Individual College, Rand Hills Academy and Institute Status Acres.
