Luso share weekly results

Luso Africa Football Club shares its weekly results.

Luso Africa FC are still sitting at the top of the Eastern Local Football Association’s (Elfa) Super League log, neck-and-neck with Old Benonians Football Club.

This is after a win against the Robertsham and Corinthians football clubs.

The match against Robertsham, which was originally meant to be played last Saturday afternoon but was postponed to last Tuesday due to rain, was played at Luso’s home grounds Hattingh Park, while the club travelled to Corinthians’ home ground for the teams’ clash last Saturday.

The club’s First team beat their Robertsham rivals 5-1, with goals from Yannick Beyouma, Nkululeko Sphomi Mthembu and Sibusiso Mohlaba, while the reserve teams drew 0-0.

In the club’s match against Corinthians, the First team won 5-2 with goals from Leandro De Abreau, Nkululeko Mthembu and Yannick Beyouma, while the reserve team won 5-0 with goals from Mario Ferreira, Mphikeleli Mbatha and Devon Thompson.

Luso’s SAB team faced Benfica Football Club in a must-win game and won 2-1.

Luso’s women’s team won their Sasol League fixture against the North West University Football Club 3-1.

Luso’s u-6 team lost their match 7-0 against Jeppe Football Club.

Luso’s u-8 team won their match against Rovers Football Club 4-0.

Luso’s u-11 A team won 8-0 against Dainfern Lions Football Club.

Luso’s u-11 B team drew their match 0-0 against Benoni Northerns Football Club.

Luso’s u-13 team lost their match again Birch Acres Football Club 5-2.
