Puma Rangers Football Club in collaboration with Sunshine Association Centre hosted the u-15 Future Stars Easter Tournament at Hoërskool Elsbug on Mach 29 to 30 where eight teams competed to reach the finals where one team would take home the trophy as champions of the tournament.
Teams included Khumalo Football Club, Milano Football Club, Puma Rangers Football Club and Lambton Football Club all in Group A and Liverpool Football Club, Burning Stars Football Club, USA Football Club and Elspark United Football Club were all in Group B.
Khumalo Football Club, Lambton Football Club, Burning Stars Football Club and USA Football Club were kicked out of the tournament in the group stages on Thursday.
While Liverpool FC and Milano FC clashed in the first round of the semi-finals on Friday.

When the final whistle went off, each team had three goals and proceeded to penalty shoot-outs where Milano FC won 6-5.
The second round of the semi-finals kicked off between Elspark United FC and Puma Rangers FC.
Elspark United proved to be the better team leaving the pitch as winners headed to the finals with a score of 1-0.
At 2.15pm, the final kicked-off between Elspark United and Milano FC.
Thando Thabethe of Elsburg United sacked up two goals under his name, while Solly Moholo and Themba Maseko were each able to score one goal each for Milano FC before the final whistle, forcing the match to end in penalty shoot-outs.
Elspark United won 7-6 in the penalty shoot-outs and took home the u-15 Future Stars Easter Tournament title for the second year running.
According to Prince Rulashe, chairperson of the Puma Rangers Football Club, the purpose of the tournament is to ensure the children are kept off the streets and kept away from substance abuse during all this free time.

“We’d like to thank Catherine Mogoale and Sunshine Association Centre for playing a pivotal role in sponsoring the tournament with medals and the trophy, and extend our gratitude to Glen Mabunda and Alex Zulu for helping organise the event, as well as Hoërskool Elsbug for allowing us to use their grounds,” said Rulashe.
“We organised this tournament in partnership with Puma Rangers Football Club as part of our Youth and Sibling Holiday Programme to ensure that our children are kept busy during the holidays and participate in community run activities,” said Catherine Mogoale of Sunshine Association Centre.
