Football trials for girls set to be held

All girls wanting to play football are invited to attend club’s trials.

Elspark Ladies United FC will be holding trials for all girls who want to play football.

The trials are open to girls from u-11 to u-19 and will take place on club training days, namely Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Girls must bring their own kit to the trials.

Elspark Ladies United FC is situated at the Elspark Sports Grounds, on the corner of Egret Street and Heidelberg Road, in Elspark.

The club, comprised of women’s development teams, was started by 19-year-old Samantha Boitumelo Mposi who is the head coach.

She plays for the Janine van Wyk Football Club’s (JVW) senior team.
