Assumption Convent rowers excel in regatta
Rowing team shows off their incredible talent.

Assumption Convent School’s Rowing Club took part in the annual Wemmer Sprints Regatta recently at Roodeplaat Dam.
This was a national regatta where schools, clubs and universities compete against each other.
The junior girls raced well winning the u-14A sculls, u-14A doubles and u-15A quad events.
The senior rowers followed, winning the women’s A scull, pairs, quad and fours.
The combined efforts of the rowing club resulted in Assumption winning the overall points trophy.
