Meet-and-greet brings parkruns together
Victoria Lake Parkrun volunteers attend the meet-and-greet and meet the CEO of Parkrun South Africa, Bruce Fordyce.
The Victoria Lake Parkrun, which has grown in leaps and bounds since its start in 2016, takes place every Saturday at the Germiston Lake from 8am and sees runners and walkers from across the country coming together to get fit.
Recently a group of regular volunteers at the parkrun attended a meet-and-greet function, which saw representatives from parkruns across Gauteng coming together.
