Smoking action at Rock Raceway

Don’t miss the greatly anticipated seventh round of the SA Drift Championships.

A smoky affair is expected in the seventh round of the SA Drift Championships to be held at the Rock Raceway, in Brakpan, on Saturday (September 2).

Are you an adrenaline junkie? If so, then this one is for you.

Germiston resident Denis Palm will join drifters from all corners of the country as they, once again, converge to rev up their engines, drop the clutch and go sideways.

Drifters will produce a smoky affair to the delight of the supporters who take pleasure in the antics of the sideways brigade.

The judges’ skillful circuit layout will test the skills levels of all the drifters as they chase after the ultimate prize at Victory Lane.

Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters and qualifying. Event proceedings will commence at 4pm.

Entry fees vary for children and adults and fans are encouraged to bring along banners showing their support for their favourite competitors.
