The Elsburg Rugby Club had to fight to keep a good standing on the Kestrel League.
The team suffered a number of losses which had supporters thinking they wouldn’t make the finals, but they soon changed their ways.
After they began their winning streak, the club made it to the semi-finals where they won against Delmas Rugby Club, last Saturday.
Elsburg then faced Eden Park Rugby Club in the final, on Saturday, and won the Kestrel League with a score of 33-27.
What a fine finish for the league!
