The Elsburg Eagles Ruby Club is set to fly into the new season.
The junior players have been hard at work honing their skills at practice and competed in their first league matches in Kempton Park, on Saturday.
The teams acquitted themselves well with u-18 team playing excellent rugby and winning their match against Brakpan 12-0.

The other teams also played good solid rugby and the results are:
- u-7: Elsburg lost 2-9 to Kempton.
- u-9: Elsburg lost 14-7 to Suikerbos Rand.
- u-11: Elsburg lost 22-0 to Springs.
- u-13: Elsburg lost 44-0 to Suikerbos Rand.
The league teams and the tag rugby team practise every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm, at the Elspark Sports Grounds. More players in all age groups are invited to join in the fun.
The club aims to development young players and all coaches are BokSmart coaches.
