Karatekas make instructor proud

Mark Strydom SA JKA Karate Club members competed at the National SA JKA Tournament.

Karatekas at the Mark Strydom SA JKA Karate Club showcased their skills and talents at the National SA JKA Tournament recently held at the Standard Bank Arena.

The local club had 13 members competing.

“There were over 3 000 participants competing over the two days,” said the local club’s instructor, Mark Strydom.

“I am proud of our karatekas. They managed to produce five gold, two silver and two bronze medals between them.”

“This is a great achievement for the club’s first national tournament.”
