Emperors Palace announces exciting boxing line-up

Boxing fans are in for a treat with not one but two hard-hitting boxing events coming to Emperors Palace soon.

Boxing fans are in for a treat with not one but two hard-hitting boxing events coming to Emperors Palace in April and June, respectively.

The festival of boxing will include the thrilling “Showstoppers”, on April 23, and the action-packed “Hurtin’ for Certain”, on June 10.

Kevin “The KO Kid” Lerena, whose planned trip to the USA has been postponed, is one of the exciting fighters expected to wow fans on April 23.

The Fourways fighter has been included on the nine-fight bill and told boxing legend Brian Mitchell during an interview, at the official launch held at Killarney Country Club, recently, that the fight will allow him the opportunity to stay fit and focused while awaiting his overseas trip.

Mitchell also spoke to an excited Simphiwe Khonco about his upcoming fight against Lito Dante of the Philippines for the IBO strawweight title “Hurtin’ for Certain” tournament on June 10.
