The School Sports Provincial Athletics Championships will be held at the Germiston Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
The championships will be hosted by the Gauteng Department of Education, in conjunction with the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation.
Selected athletes from over 1 000 high schools in Gauteng will be participating at the event and the competing age groups for both girls and boys are u-15, u-17 and u-19.
The Germiston community is invited to support the athletes as they showcase their talents in various athletics codes.
On Friday the event will start at 9am until 7.30pm while Saturday’s activities will start at 7.30am until 4pm.
